Personal DIY projects, planning, and implementation

I have a house and I like to improve something on it. The most interesting thing is that when you do one project, then in the process there are ideas for several more. So I have done quite a few projects already in the last 3 years. In this short article, I want to share some of them.
Wood is a very good material. You can make a lot of different products from it. My first project is a shoe rack.

This is a very simple project and is pretty straightforward to do. With this project, I began to pay attention to planning. I wrote down tasks and noted their completion.

The next project was more difficult — this is a birdhouse.

No, it’s pretty simple too. The next one was definitely more complicated — this is a bird feeder.

Making it I spent quite a lot of time and effort. There are a lot of details and a complex installation here. It is also connected to a solar panel and automatically turns on the backlight when it gets dark outside.

After this project, I made a wine rack. We make our own wine and now we have a place to put bottles. Not very difficult to do, but quite useful and practical thing.

After that, I began to plan the construction of a summer house, and since it was necessary to prepare the site and remove the excess, I made a cabinet for firewood. Nice and practical project.

After all these projects, I was ready to take on a big project. Planned and made a summer house.

The house turned out even better than I originally planned. Yes, this is a rather large project and it took quite a lot of time, but it was worth it.

All the things that I have done I still use now. As you can see, I started out with fairly simple projects, gradually getting more complicated. All of these projects were well planned and made with few errors. I use a free organizer for planning. It is quite simple and allows you to create goals, projects, and tasks. Also allows you to mark progress. I also collected quite useful contacts in this application, to whom I delegated some of the work. Also, the more projects I did, the better the planning approach I got. I described my approach to planning DIY projects in the article. I still use this approach. It’s simple and works really well. I recommend that you read and try to use it to plan your projects.

Oh yes, the last project I completed this year is a shed. It’s so beautiful )
