PTE Exam Format- The PTE exam is a computer-based test that assesses the English language skills of non-native speakers of English who wish to study or work in English-speaking countries. The test is divided into three sections: listening, reading and writing. Each section consists of a number of tasks that test different skills. The listening and reading sections are Multiple-Choice, Select-in-Passage tasks. The writing section consists of essay and summarizing tasks. The PTE exam is taken on a computer, and the test-taker has 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete the test. The test is divided into three sections, each of which has a different time limit.
