The WPS is the easiest method to do the Linksys RE6500 setup that can be done within minutes. However, there will be a need to have a compatible WPS router to execute this method. If there is not a WPS button on the router or if you fail in this process, you will need to choose another way. So, there are two different methods apart from the WPS way and you can choose any of them. But, you will also need to access the Linksys setup window on your networked device for those methods. Choose your preferred method and visit the setup portal by searching for the web/IP address in the first method and installing the WiFi app on the smartphone in the second method.
